Our Story

Mine and David's love story is unique, but one that is perfectly ours. We met in January 2022, through "mutual friends" aka Bumble Dating app. I (Jasmine) swiped on David after being captivated by his beautiful eyes, and the conversation and sparks basically took off from there. Our first date was at Olive Garden where we, by complete coincidence ran into my best friend Rebekah, To this day, David likes to claim that this "coincidence" was planned as a potential escape route for me if the date went bad, but thankfully it didn't.

In 2022, I was still living in Las Vegas, N.M. while I was in school and David was back home in Espanola. He went to visit me several times shortly after our first date, and I fell for him pretty quickly. Fast forward to May, I moved back home to Espanola and this is where our story gets interesting. Instead of David and I getting closer in our relationship as we physically got closer in distance, David practically ghosted me. Okay, ghosted me may have been an exaggeration, but you can say he wasn't very interested. After several months of me getting annoyed with his disinterest, by October I finally was ready to "call it quits". David on the other hand was blissfully ignorant and wanted to try and be "friends" and proposed we kept our planned date for the very next day at La Cocina. After that very awkward first hug and dinner, by the end of it we knew we both wanted to pursue our relationship. The very next day, we took a ride to Los Alamos and sat at Ashley Pond where we, or should I say David, confessed his feelings and we solidified our relationship. Since then we have been inseparable and each others best friends.

Fast forward to April 26th 2025, where David proposed to me at Ashley Pond, the very place we started our journey.

We are grateful for all the love and memories we have made together over the years, but we truly believe the best is yet to come!

Wedding Party

Mia Archuleta - Maid of Honor
Mia is Jasmine's younger sister and forever best friend. God knew what he was doing when he paired Mia and Jasmine up for life, and there is no other person that Jasmine could envision as her Maid of Honor. Mia is the life of any party and her big heart means the world to Jasmine. Mia will always be Jasmine's baby sister, and she is so proud of the woman she has become. Mia has seen Jasmine through every mile stone and all of her hardest moments, and Jasmine can hardly wait to make more memories on her wedding day with her best friend standing right next to her.
Rebekah Proper - Matron of Honor
Rebekah and Jasmine met in college while both earning their undergrad degrees together. They quickly became best friends after finally getting to know one another besides being classmates, and went on to work their first big girl jobs together after graduating. Rebekah is one of Jasmine's biggest cheerleaders and biggest inspirations, so it was an obvious choice to make her the Matron of Honor. Funny enough, she ran into Jasmine and David on their very first date by accident which makes her role even more special.
Anai Hernandez - Bridesmaid
Anai and Jasmine met in Jasmine's sophomore year of college when they were set to be roommates by the university. Little did the two of them know that they would become best of friends, and continue living together for the remainder of their college years. Anai and Jasmine even lived together in their adult years, making memories that will last a lifetime. Jasmine is so lucky that Highlands randomly paired her with Anai.
Bridget Archuleta - Bridesmaid
Bridget is Jasmine's older cousin, but more of a older sister. Jasmine can always count on Bridget to answer her calls, and give good advice when needed. Jasmine can remember always wanting to be around her big cousin and cannot imagine marrying her bestfriend without Bridget by her side. Bridget is also the first call Jasmine will make if David ever decides to act up.
Megan Archuleta - Bridesmaid
Megan is Jasmine's younger cousin, but someone she also considers a good friend. Jasmine admires Megan's warm heart and caring spirit. The two have made many, many memories together and Jasmine is excited to add her wedding day to the list of things they get to do together.
Isabella Archuleta - Bridesmaid
Isabella is Jasmine's younger cousin, and another good friend. Jasmine loves hanging out with Isabella and the two can always count on making one another laugh. Jasmine has enjoyed watching Bella grow and mature, and loves getting to hang out with her little cousin. Jasmine is counting on Bella for creating all the TikTok trends of her big day.
Aaron Atencio - Best Man
Aaron is the Groom’s best friend of over 12 years and his Best Man. He’s honorable, kind, hilarious, and someone the Groom can rely on without question. From everyday frustrations to life-changing moments—and especially the hardest times—Aaron has always been there. He’s more than a best friend; he’s a brother.
Thomas Snider - Groomsman
Thomas is the Groom’s uncle, but with only a three-year age gap, he’s always felt more like a brother. He’s strong, stubborn, goofy, and a lifelong Pokémon fan. The Groom and Thomas are incredibly close and are always each other’s first call when something goes wrong or help is needed.
Samson Martinez - Groomsman
Samson is the Groom’s actual blood brother and forever the baby brother. He’s goofy, caring, and fiercely loyal. From video games to shared hobbies and movies, their relationship has always been easy and natural. Even when they don’t see each other often, nothing ever feels distant.
Darin Espinosa - Groomsman
Darin is one of the Groom’s closest friends and has become another brother over time. Originally Thomas’s best friend, he was always around, but it wasn’t until working together that their friendship really clicked. Silly, funny, loyal, and easy to get along with, Darin fits seamlessly into the group.
Alejandro Atencio - Groomsman
Hondo is the Groom’s bonus little brother. As Aaron’s younger brother, he’s been part of the Groom’s life for years—through holidays, birthdays, family trips, and everything in between. He’s funny, loyal, and unapologetically Hondo, and that’s exactly why he’s family.
Ezekiel Atencio - Groomsman
Zeke is the Groom’s youngest little brother. As Aaron’s baby brother, the Groom has watched Zeke grow from a little kid into the 18-year-old he is today. Goofy, passionate, and full of potential, Zeke has grown up right alongside the rest of the crew.
